Job Summary:
The Marcom Post Production Department (PPD) is a full-service post production organization comprised of the following devisions: creative editorial, grading, audio, and visual effects. The PPD teams have a sense of pride in the work being produced, a shared sense of purpose as a group and is known for delivering the highest quality creative. The ideal candidate is highly creative, strong technically, and has a proven track record of delivering on large scale productions.
Our post production VFX Producers work closely with all members of the post production team, (editor/asst. editor/colorist/ VFX artists/AfterEffects Artists) and liaise with production companies, external post production houses, and Marcom Motion Graphics and CG Departments. VFX Producers prepare schedules, create shot sheets, establish workflow, track rough cuts and individual shots. VFX Producers are well verse in versioning and localization. VFX Producers insure the highest quality control through post production, archiving and project wrap. Essential skills: effective communicator, highly organized, detail oriented.
Key Qualifications:
- You have at least 10+ years of experience as a VFX Post Producer at a picture finishing house, in-house Agency or Production Company VFX department.
- You collaborate and partner closely with VFX artists (Flame/Nuke/AfterEffects) and colorists to manage project milestones from concept to final master delivery.
- You have knowledge and experience in the following fields: broadcast, web, social, theater and large scale event deliverables.
- You have experience with supervised sessions with clients.
- You have an understanding of the post production pipeline: offline, online & conform, general 2d VFX work, animation and color.
- You have an understanding of devices, frame rates, compression schemes, file formats and cameras.
- You have experience with VFX Department responsibilities such as: maintaining VFX Stats Database, Artists Calendars, Project Calendars
- You have experience creating project boards and tracking content.
- You have a fine eye for the details.
- Experience in quality checking shots frame by frame using the 4 quadrant method.
- You assist in both micro and macro project scheduling.
- You solve problems creatively, quickly and calmly.
