Senior Brand Strategist 

 

Job Summary:

The role of a Senior Brand Strategist is to help ensure the development and execution of exceptional marketing in support of our business goals. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the thinking behind how we communicates our Values to its customers today and years to come.

Key Qualifications:

  • A deep understanding of and extensive experience in marketing strategy and brand communications.
  • A track record of partnering with and leading strategic conversations across functions, both within and beyond the Marketing org.
  • Experience working with and building real, productive relationships with creatives who span fields - advertising, video, interactive, print, retail.
  • Experience partnering with non-marketing stakeholders. Proven success in reaching alignment on marketing objectives, proof points and KPIs. 
  • Proven skills in core areas: business and brand strategy, consumer insights and research, leveraging data and analytics, communications planning.
  • Global experience. Whether you’re a well traveled individual or someone who has worked on global brands, the ability to spot insights across markets is key.
  • A keen sense of culture, creativity and innovation.
  • A provocative thinker. Someone not scared to question the status quo, to push thinking in new directions.
  • Organic marketing experience. Seasoned in the use of owned + earned media. 
  • Extraordinary writing and visual story-telling skills. Keynote proficiency preferred.
  • Excellent presentation skills. A persuasive, trusted voice in meetings. 
  • A minimum of 10 years of planning experience at a creative agency or creatively-driven internal marketing team.
     

Description:

You will be joining a team of Brand Strategists within Marketing Communications (Marcom) who collaborate closely with extraordinary creative talent to tackle a variety of complex marketing challenges. This role will focus on marketing Apple’s Values, ranging from Environment, Accessibility, Privacy to I&D, Education and Supplier Responsibility. You’ll uncover insights, facts and inspiration to cultivate the very best creative work, helping connect the brand with industry leaders, current and future customers all over the world.

Specific duties:

  • Develop insightful, data-backed and rigorous creative briefs that inspire the best work possible. 
  • Lead strategic conversations that help rethink and reimagine the way we communicate.
  • Work closely and productively with the best creative talent on the planet.
  • Build relationships with and garner insights from different people in a variety of groups ranging from brand managers, data + analytics, subject matter experts (e.g. environmental policy experts, accessibility teams), interactive teams, retail, channel.
  • Become an expert on our work in the Values space with a keen ability to translate specifics into simple, human language.
  • React quickly and calmly to new information, opinions and direction.
  • Actively strive to create the best communication experiences possible.
  • Be a genuine, supportive teammate helping other Strategists and non-Strategists succeed together.

 

Education:

Bachelor's Degree preferred

Additional Requirements

Creative Agency experience preferred. 

Samples of creative briefs or case study samples required. 
 

QUALIFICATION/ LICENSURE :
  • Preferred years of experience : 10+ Years
  • Travel Required : 25% or less
  • Business Day Timings: 9 AM to 5 PM
